Earlier today I submitted my nomination to stand for the Council of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries again. I was on the Council from July 2012 to June 2018, and served on the Management Board from July 2016 to June 2018. 

The main skill-set I bring to the table is extensive experience of IT including cloud technology and (increasingly) big data/data science/artificial intelligence. I believe there is still much to do to help our members remain relevant in a world that is likely to be ever more dominated by data analytics and AI. With my background I feel well placed to help.
